[Ahs-grads] April Faculty Meeting Notes

Hello Everyone,

Please find attached the April Faculty meeting notes.

Of particular highlight are the fellowship and travel grants that are
currently open for submission.

As a department this Saturday April 12th, We will be participating in
Highlander day to encourage undergrad students to choose UCR and Art
History in particular. I think I will be there from 1pm to 3pm. There will
be free food and it is a great way to influence the future of the
department here. It would be greatly appreciated if some of us could make
it. See Aleca's report below for more information:

*Highlander Day* this Saturday. You are all invited!
Tabling (10-3) and Open House (12-1)
We will have stickers, and sandwiches, and QR codes, and maybe some stereo
viewers
I will be there with Susan & Veronica - hoping to gather some undergrad
majors and grad students as well. Retention is a big deal to CHASS & they
are making a push to capture as many students as possible. This year, 173
AHS majors were accepted.

UCR Graduating MFA exhibition April 19th, 2:00-4:00pm, UCR ARTS
