The WFA is an effective and necessary organization that advocates for real change and equity for our faculty.  The Riverside campus has typically had the lowest percentage of women faculty of any campus in the UC system. </div>

Over the last several years, the WFA has fostered a space for faculty to share concerns, identify priorities, and build networks and communities.  We have successfully advocated for institutional actions and policy changes including:</div>

*  the revision of our outdated and biased Student Evaluation of Teaching Survey (now in process)</div>

*  increasing rigor in assessing faculty salary equity across gender (ongoing)</div>
