Dear Colleagues,

I am very pleased to announce that Robert Smith is our new VCSA Technology Services Director.  He commenced his employment at UCR on Tuesday, October 4th.

Robert is joining UCR from the private sector where he most recently was employed by Abbott Vascular as one of their IT Services Delivery Managers. Robert has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Accounting and his professional background is  the perfect balance of a strong  technical knowledge base and strategic leadership experience.   I am thrilled to have Robert as part of the Student Affairs Division.
