Hello VCSA folks,
The training below is part of the Chancellor's "Making Excellence
Inclusive"
program. Our goal is to have every staff person attend, from
administrative
assistants to Vice Chancellors (the Chancellor already attended, as
has every staff
in the Division of Advancement).
Our request to VCSA departments is for 1 staff person in your unit
attend the training
on Monday, Feb. 28. We hope trained staff can report back on the value
of the training,
and we can then look into scheduling departmental workshops that work
best for your
schedules and work flow. Staff who attend the LGBT 101 workshop can
also attend an
optional follow-up workshop to join the Allies Safe Zone program.
I guarantee that the workshop is very interesting. More info below.
