Emergency Network Downtime 18 April 2011 – Affecting VCSA and HDRS Systems
During the original power outage on Friday of last week, a major component in the power systems was damaged and the UPS system  did not recharge. C&C has scheduled an emergency repair is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm this evening.   In order to do this repair, all servers running the VCSA and HDRS operations will need to be shutdown prior to 7:30 pm to allow this power unit to be replaced.   The projected time frame for all systems to be back online is 7:00 am on April 19, 2011.
During this time – Majority of operations for VCSA and HDRS will be offline until the replacement and testing is completed.
For VCSA Division Affected Systems
·         All Terminal services  (Staff, Student, Kiosks), Office Communicator IM Services
·         Web Services – All  (Includes – All Department Public web sites, MyUCR, Sign in System, Visit UCR, Orientation, Schedule of Classes, Escort Services, etc. )
·         Staff SharePoint Services ,   Public and Private CMS web sites
·         Card Office IDMS , Online Card Office  web site (MyAccounts)
·         Black Board Transactions ( Meal Plans and Bear Bucks will be offline)
·         Starrs Singularity
·         SQL Reporting Services
·         Banner Reporting Services
For Housing, Dining, Residence Departments
·         Infogenisis/Revelations (POS registers will be offline)
·         Kronos  Workforce Time Keeper (Clocks will remain Online for work shifts)
·         Logic Domain and Datalect
·         TMA , Conference Programmer  , Odyssey
·         Softgrid Services
·         Child Development Center DRDP system
·         All Housing File share systems (Desktop share drives)
