Saturday, April 16, 2011
10 am to 3 pm
HUB 268
RSVP by April 13th
This conference will feature workshops addressing stereotypes in the API
community, as well as a self defense class, and a guest speaker from the
counseling center addressing API women and body image. Our spotlight guest
speaker is Yadi Moth, who is a entrepreneur that created her own bio
degradable flip flop (she's involved with the Alumni Center and has been
featured at Oscar parties). She will be speaking about her journey in
starting her own business as an API woman. The conference is opened to all
students and is free of charge.
