[Vcsa-announcements] HEAT volunteers needed

Dear Colleagues,

We are looking for a few volunteers for HEAT next Saturday.  This is a great opportunity to participate in a huge student event and you can get in to see the festival free after your shift has ended.  You'll also get a free Heat staff hoodie.

 

We have two types of positions:

 

Line managers are essentially information providers - working the lines outside the venue to help our students and their friends before they enter the security are as the enter the festival  

 

Shift: 6:45pm-9:00pm

 

Total of six positions

 

North Entrance - Line Managers

1          [Campus Store]

2          [Bourns/N. Campus Dr stairs]

3          [Student/volunteer] if poss.]

 

South Entrance - Line Managers

4          [Lot 30/theatre crosswalk]

5          [Watkins/Sproul/Guest Serv]

6          [Student/volunteer] if poss.  

 

The loading dock positions help check in various artists and crew members at the loading dock security check point. 

 

HUB Loading Dock

7          [student/volunteer] pre-event

8          [student/volunteer] shift 1

9          [student/volunteer] shift 2

 

Shift 1: 6:45pm-9:00pm

Shift 2: 9:30pm-1:00am
