Come share free food and great company with the API Women's Mentor Program
of Asian Pacific Student Programs as we celebrate St. Valentines Day with
"Shades of Love"
"Shades of Love" is an interracial dating forum created by the Asian and
Pacific Student Program's, Women's Mentor Group to offer insight into what
many still believe to be a taboo topic. The event will focus on the
experiences of being in an interracial relationship and some of the issues
that may arise as a result. We are pleased to announce that headlining this
event will be distinguish professor Rueyling Chuang of Cal State San
Bernardino; who will then be joined by a very diverse student panel.
Rueyling, who received her PhD in Communications, has done extensive
research on the topic of interracial relationships as well as taught various
classes relating to global and multicultural issues and conducted research
in countries such as Hong Kong and Taiwan.
This is a free event!
