The Golden ARCHES (Advocating Responsible Choices through Health Education
and Support) Peer Health Education program and the CHAMPS/Life Skills
program are proud to announce the next speaker of their 2008-09 Educational
Speaker Series:

Tuesday, February 10th
7:00 PM
University Lecture Hall

Speaker/Comedian Rene Hicks presents:

"The Influence of Culture and Society on Sex and Relationships"

As a two-time NACA (National Association of Campus Activities) Comedian of
the Year, Rene Hicks is determined to use comedy to make a difference.
While most comics have comedy "acts," Rene has comedy "activism." In this
program she will address the role of media, music, culture and society on
our attitudes and beliefs about sex and relationships.

This program is also part of UCR's Sexual Responsibility Week campaign and
celebration of Black History Month.
