Dear Colleagues, 
 
I am pleased to inform you that the new UCR chancellor will be announced at the Regents' meeting on Thursday, May 15 at approximately 9:00 a.m.  The link to the audio-cast is as follows:  http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/regents/regmeet/may08.html.  The new Chancellor plans to visit UCR on Thursday May 15 and Friday May 16. The visit will include an open campus forum to be held at the University Theatre at 4:00 p.m. Please feel free to share this information with your staff.
