[Vcsa-announcements] Student Affairs Communications

Dear Colleagues,

As many of you are aware, over the past year Pat Daly and her team have expanded their responsibilities to provide support to Student Affairs units outside of Enrollment Management. In recognition of this, I am pleased to inform you that the name of her unit has been changed to Student Affairs Communications. This more accurately reflects its new and expanded role within the Division.

Last year I asked Pat to conduct a strategic assessment of VCSA communications efforts (across the entire Division) and we have been working on implementing some of the recommendations that grew out of this process. In the context of the review and actions taken since, we will be discussing the future direction of the Student Affairs Communication's Unit at an upcoming Director's meeting as our communications efforts are critical to our ability to successfully realize our goals.
