[Tonantzin Oseguera]

I am writing to share updates from Student Organization Leadership, Advising, and Resources.

 

Thomas Dake recently resigned from his position as Director. Over the last five years Tom contributed to UC Riverside, strengthening the administrative and technological infrastructure required to support student organizations at a mid sized university.

I will assume responsibility for management of SOLAR in the interim (with the help and support of the very strong and dedicated staff on the SOLAR team).

 

Carol Preston recently accepted a position as Assistant Director for Greek Life at Ohio University and will be leaving her position as Student Organization Coordinator as the of the academic year. Carol is one of UCR"s own (class of 2003), whose contributions both as a student leader and as a professional have been rich and diverse.

 

Events to thank Tom and Carol for their service and wish each of them well in the next chapter of their personal and professional lives will be held later this quarter.
