[Vcsa-announcements] Student Killed in Auto Accident

It is with great sadness that I announce the death of one of our 
students.  Linda Thi Vinh Nguyen was killed in a car accident early on the 
morning of March 16 while coming through Rubidoux on her way to 
Riverside.  She was riding as a backseat passenger when the driver lost 
control and the vehicle collided into the center divider.

Memorial services are scheduled for 9:00 am on Monday, March 26 at the 
Lakeside Chapel of Westminster Memorial Park (14801 Beach Boulevard, 
Westminster, CA  92683).

Linda was an valued member of the UCR community, and was involved with Rho 
Delta Chi Sorority and the Vietnamese Students Association. The Vietnamese 
Students Association announced that it will dedicate its coming  Vietnamese 
Culture Night (March 31 in the University Theater) to Linda's memory.
