[Vcsa-announcements] SARE Appointment

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Guadalupe Anaya as the 
Principal Research Analyst in our Student Affairs Research and Evaluation 
unit.  Dr. Anaya most recently served as research advisor for the Office of 
Education Innovation in the College of Pharmacy at the University of 
Kentucky, Lexington; and has taught in Colleges of Education at UCLA, UCD, 
and Indiana University.  With over 15 years experience as an educator she 
has completed student outcomes evaluation and research projects on the 
influences of educational programs and student experiences on student 
outcomes.  Her work has appeared in numerous journals and publications 
including Research in Higher Education, Journal of College Student 
Development,  American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, and Hispanic 
Student’s Guide for College Success.  Guadalupe obtained a B.A in 
Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University, 
and a Ph.D. in Higher Education and Organizational Change from 
UCLA.   Please join me in welcoming the newest member of VCSA.  I would 
also like to thank the search committee members – Lindy Fenex (Rec Cntr), 
Teri Eckman (EM), Chin-Chun Chen (SARE), and Jami Grosser (LGBTRC) – for 
their outstanding work.
