[Vcsa-announcements] International Scholar Services Update

I am writing to provide you with an update on International Scholar 
Services at UCR.

Dr. Horst Hoffmann, who has ably shared his time and talents to facilitate 
the presence and profile of international scholars at UC Riverside during 
the last three decades will resign his position as Associate Director for 
International Scholar Services as of June 30, 2006 to accept a promotional 
opportunity in the International Student and Scholar office at UC San Diego.

A national search has been launched to identify a suitable 
successor.  Until then, please address campus scholar issues to Diane 
Elton, diane.elton at ucr.edu,  x24113.
