timely manner. First, you need to review the pathways to satisfying the <b>Entry-Level Writing Requirement.</b> It must be satisfied no later than the end of your freshman year, and preferably by the end of your first quarter. Check the list below to see whether

<b>Analytical Writing Placement Exam</b> on the UCR campus on one of the many dates the exam is available. Our recommendation: If you test in May or June, your placement information will be available when you register for fall quarter classes during your Highlander
Orientation session. Early testing <u>reduces</u> the chance you will need to modify your fall schedule later in the summer to take account of your placement information. If you cannot test early, you will be able to test during your in-person orientation
