[Undergradstudents] Scholarship Opportunity in SOE - Karen B. Kyhn and Stanley N. Fix Endowed Scholarship

Hello all,

Applications are now open for the $2,500 Karen B. Kyhn and Stanley N. Fix Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship aims to support declared and actively enrolled undergraduate students within the UCR School of Education. Applicants are asked to complete an online application form where they will submit a 2 page double-spaced response to the following prompt: how have you sought to advance educational equity? The Undergraduate Education Committee for the School of Education will review these essays and select two awardees.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  *   Currently declared as an Education, Society, and Human Development major.
  *   Will remain an Education, Society, and Human Development major at the time of scholarship disbursement (Spring 2025).
  *   Have Senior status.

The selected recipients will be asked to attend the School of Education Donor and Scholars luncheon on Friday, April 11, 2025, to meet with the scholarship donors. More details on this luncheon will be provided in the award letter.
