The Tomás Rivera Teachers Association Scholarship keeps Tomás Rivera’s legacy alive by awarding scholarships to future Inland Empire educators committed to the Chicano Latino community.
A collaboration between Chicano Student Programs and the UCR School of Education, $700 scholarships are awarded to full-time UCR undergraduates in their senior year who have received conditional admittance into the SOE teaching credential program OR current SOE teaching credential students who demonstrate a commitment to service to the Chicano Latino communities and their home community.
