Hello Everyone,

Below is a revised view of the application data that includes the referral
pool. This year we had an increase in a little over 700 CA resident
application compared to the prior year. The report being released on Friday
will combine the referral pool with direct new applications, which might
give the impression that we admitted fewer students this year compared to
last year.

This year, we also took a more strategic approach to the referral
population. Although we targeted only 600 students through the referral
pool (down from 6,000 last year), our yield rate improved, resulting in
nearly 40 more net SIRs from referrals. This was achieved through an opt-in
process sent to the entire referral pool. Additionally, if we consider only
direct admits, we actually admitted 3,600 more California residents than
last year.

Please let me know if I can provide any additional context and we will work
on sending the future reports with the referral data separated out from the
direct applicants.

Best,
