[Ugareports] Fall 2024 App Status 2024-04-19

Good Afternoon,



I'd like to offer some context on the application status report. The
attached report presents an exact date-to-date comparison with last year's
data. However, it's important to note that this year, the Statement of
Intent to Register (SIR) deadline has been extended to May 15th, and we
have only just begun releasing aid decisions. I anticipate that over the
next two weeks, we will see an increase in SIR numbers as we approach the
May 15th deadline, especially given that many students tend to make their
final decisions closer to the deadline.



Additionally, I wanted to share some numbers that provide a more relevant
comparison. The data below compares the numbers from 24 days before the SIR
deadline in 2023 with the corresponding period in 2024, and we are
currently trending favorably based on these figures.
