Re: 10 Minutes to Recognize UC Retirees and Their Contributions
Dear UCR Retiree:
You will soon receive an email asking you to participate in a brief, 10-minute online survey of your activities and contributions since working at UC Riverside. This is the third survey sponsored by the Council of UC Retiree Associations (CUCRA)<https://cucra.ucsd.edu/about/index.html>, local UC retiree associations, and retiree centers. CUCRA advocates on behalf of all UC retired staff/non-senate academics.
Why participate? The first and second surveys conducted in 2016 and 2020 resulted in ground-breaking reports highlighting achievements that UC retirees continue to make as volunteers, advocates, ambassadors, caregivers, artists, and more.
As a UCR retiree, your voice and contributions deserve recognition, and this survey offers you the opportunity to share your valuable input. Past survey results have allowed the UCR Retirees' Association to add weight to our advocacy on behalf of UCR retirees both on campus and systemwide. Your voice matters!
The results from this survey will:
* Enable CUCRA, its member retiree associations, and retiree centers to advocate more effectively on behalf of UC retirees.
* Help the UC Office of the President and campus and laboratory administrators better understand the contributions made by retirees to UC and the broader community.
* Assist UC retirees associations and retiree centers to create and improve upon programs for retirees.
* Provide retirees with comprehensive information about their collective contributions and achievements.
How will the data be used? The data will be distilled into a report for key administrators at the President's Office and each campus and laboratory. The 2020 report is an excellent example and can be viewed at: https://cucra.ucsd.edu/surveys/.
Privacy: CUCRA is recognized as an "Affiliated Organization" via Regental Policy 5203 and it complies with UC privacy policies. Therefore, your answers to this survey are confidential and private, and your identity will not be associated with your answers in the reporting or archiving of the data. Aggregate responses and comments will be shared with your local association and Retirement Center which must also comply with UC privacy policies. This survey uses Qualtrics survey software. Qualtrics uses cookies to manage your survey session. CUCRA does not have access to these digital cookies.
If you have questions about the survey, please email retirees at ucr.edu<mailto:retirees at ucr.edu>.
We hope you will set aside a few minutes to complete this survey, which we believe will benefit UC retirees like you. Thank you for your participation.
