RASC - Life Events feature in UCRAYS to be disabled from 10/14/2024 to 1/02/2025

UCOP has shared a message to inform emeriti and retirees that the Life Events feature, which allows members to update their insurance in UCRAYS, will be temporarily disabled during the upcoming open enrollment period.

Life Events Disabled Date
Starting Monday, October 14, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., Pacific Time life events will be disabled. Life events feature will reopen Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., PT

Important for Retirees
Emeriti and retirees will still be able to make open enrollment changes in UCRAYS during this period.

Medicare Plan Changes
If an emeriti or retiree is changing to a new Medicare Plan during open enrollment, they must submit the appropriate UBEN Medicare enrollment form by faxing it to RASC at 1-800-792-5178 or mailing to P.O. Box 24570 Oakland, CA 94623. Retirees can also send this form through a Secure Message by signing into their UCRAYS account and selecting "Messages".
