Re:          Reminder: Retiree Survey to Recognize UC Retirees and Their Contributions

Dear UCR Retiree:

As a reminder, we are facilitating a system wide survey of retiree activity conducted by the Council of UC Retiree Associations (CUCRA). The survey was launched a week ago and so far UCR has 45 responses. We are seeking a high rate of participation among our UCR retirees and kindly ask those who have not yet completed the survey to please take a few minutes to do so. The survey closes November 1, 2024.

We regard this as an important project because it helps campus, laboratory administrators, and the Office of the UC President better understand the many contributions made by retirees. Your contributions as community and UC volunteers, advocates, ambassadors, mentors, caregivers, professional entrepreneurs, artists, and more are all important.

*CUCRA (Council of UC Retiree Associations) comprises representatives from each of the retiree associations at UC campuses, laboratories, and the President's Office, all of whom are volunteers. CUCRA meets twice per year with administrators from the Office of the President, advocates on behalf of all UC retirees, and fosters mutually supportive relationships between the University and its retirees.
