Dear UCR Retirees,

As we plan for UCR’s Give Day on Thursday, April 6, 2023, we want to take a look back at the progress we have made together in supporting UCR undergraduate students through the UCRRA Undergraduate Student Scholarship. In 2021, our association awarded two undergraduate students Nicholas Jimenez and Alberto Flores each with a $5,000 scholarship to aid them in achieving their educational goals.

This year, the UCRRA Scholarship Committee identified four undergraduate students to receive the 2022-2023 UCRRA Scholarship. Three students each received a $2,500 and one student received a $5,000 UCRRA Scholarship totaling in $12.500.

UCRRA Staff, Faculty, Retirees Giving Day Goal
For UCR’s Give Day on April 6, 2023, we now seek your support to raise $5,000 which will help us award student(s) for the 2023 – 2024 academic year.

If every UCR retiree donates $5, we can easily reach our student scholarship goal.
The UCR retiree community is strong and we are thankful to come together as one to help our undergraduate students succeed. Please mark your calendars for UCR’s Give Day on April 6, 2023 and look out for a follow up communication which will include details of the UCR Retirees’ Association Give Day webpage.
