<p style="font-size:12px;margin:10px 0;padding:0;color:#656565;font-family:Helvetica;line-height:150%;text-align:left">The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) is a one-year program and is open to all UCR Faculty and Staff. This program empowers participants with education, tools, and resources to prevent Type 2 Diabetes and enhance their well-being. Participants will receive information on eating healthier, tips to increase physical activity, techniques to manage stress, and education to prevent diabetes. Small group discussions will encourage problem solving strategies for overcoming common challenges to lifestyle change. <br>
<br>
The one-hour sessions are virtual and instructed by certified lifestyle coaches and are held:<br>
Weekly for 16 weeks (Months 1-4)<br>
Bi-weekly for 8 weeks (Months 5-6)<br>
Monthly (Months 7-12)</p>
We anticipate starting a new cohort in July 2026<br>
