Riverside





Retirees and emeriti are cordially invited to register for the *Walks,
Talks & Tours Activity: Tour of the American Red Cross Blood Bank on
Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. *Join us for an exclusive
behind-the-scenes tour of your local American Red Cross chapter in
Riverside! This guided experience offers a unique opportunity to see how
the American Red Cross mission comes to life every day through our vital
services and dedicated teams.

During this tour, attendees will:

* Explore the Blood Donor Center*

·       Step inside our state-of-the-art donor facility to learn how
donated blood is collected, processed, and distributed to hospitals
throughout the region. Discover the lifesaving journey of a blood donation
and the impact it has on patients in need.

*Visit the Disaster Warehouse*

·       Experience the operational heart of our disaster response efforts.
You’ll see emergency supplies, equipment, and resources used to support
families affected by home fires, wildfires, and other emergencies. Our team
will share how we prepare for disasters before they strike, and how we
mobilize at a moment’s notice.

*Participate in a Live Q&A Session*

·       Engage directly with the Executive Director and leaders from:

o   Disaster Cycle Services

o   Service to the Armed Forces

o   Volunteer Services

·       Hear firsthand about current initiatives, volunteer opportunities,
and the essential role community support plays in delivering our
humanitarian mission. Ask questions, learn more about program operations,
and discover how you can get involved.
