On this special day of giving, we invite you to make a meaningful impact by
supporting the *UCREA Graduate Student Travel Award *and the* UCRRA
Undergraduate Scholarship*. Your generosity helps empower UCR students to
pursue their educational goals and reach their full potential. Together, we
can continue expanding opportunities and creating pathways for success for
both undergraduate and graduate students.

*UCR Emeriti Association (UCREA) Graduate Student Travel Award*

Traveling to a national or international professional society conference,
symposium, or workshop to present and defend research or to pursue research
travel is a critical part of graduate student education, and unfortunately,
travel funds are frequently insufficient for graduate students to take
advantage of these essential educational opportunities.

Thanks to the support of the UCR community, the UCR Emeriti Association
(UCREA) is now awarding travel award(s) quarterly.

*UCREA Give Day Challenge: *Four generous donors have committed a combined
pledge of $4,000 in support of Give Day. Their combined pledge will match
donations to the UCR Emeriti Association Graduate Student Travel Award Fund
dollar for dollar, up to $1,000 per gift, up to a total of $4,000 for all
gifts.

*UCR Retirees’ Association (UCRRA) Undergraduate Scholarship*

The cost of education and the cost of living continue to rise each year.
The UCR Retirees' Association (UCRRA) remains committed to supporting
undergraduate students by providing financial support through scholarships
to help them achieve their educational goals at UCR.

The UCRRA values the hard work and contributions of UCR staff, faculty,
retirees and emeriti by providing scholarships to their children,
grandchildren or other close family members.

·       *UCRRA Give Day Challenge: *SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is
generously supporting the UCR Retirees' Association Scholarship Fund with a
generous $12,500 gift unlocked once 425 UCR retiree, emeriti, staff, and
faculty members make a donation toward UCR Give Day! Be sure to select
‘faculty/staff’ or “emeriti and retiree faculty/staff” when processing your
donation online so your gift counts toward our goal.
