Learn how meditation—through simple breathing techniques—can quiet the
mind, reduce personal attachment and worry, and enhance mental clarity,
memory, and emotional balance. This session will begin with a presentation
from KimDzung Pham followed by a meditation practice. Participants are
encouraged to wear comfortable attire. Friends and family are welcome to
attend.

*KimDzung Pham** taught Vietnamese language, culture, and history at the
Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA, and spent 18 years at UC
Riverside, retiring in 2023. A lifelong meditation practitioner, she began
at a young age and continues today, crediting the practice with shaping her
optimistic outlook and providing rich experience in cultivating mindfulness
and inner peace.*
