*United Healthcare – Changes to Individual Medicare Advantage service areas
will not impact UC Medicare Choice members on January 1, 2026*




Effective January 1, 2026, United Healthcare (UHC) will implement changes
to its Individual Medicare Advantage service areas and discontinue certain
plans. These changes will not affect members enrolled in the UC employer
group plan, UC Medicare Choice. UC plan members will continue to have
uninterrupted in-network access to Sutter Health locations and physicians.



For questions, members may contact the UHC Customer Service at
1-866-887-9533, available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time.



To provide clarity ahead of UC Open Enrollment, UHC will add a banner to
https://retiree.uhc.com/uc highlighting the upcoming changes to its
individual plans and reaffirming that UC Medicare Choice plan will not be
impacted.
