Retirees and emeriti are cordially invited to register for the Walks, Talks & Tours Activity: Tour of UCR’s R’Garden on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The R’Garden is located behind Lot 30 on the corner of Martin Luther King and Canyon Crest. The specific location of the R’Garden can be viewed here<https://maps.app.goo.gl/wbDRZQaFpCNVJdLE7>. We will meet in front of the R’Garden in Lot 30 and parking options are available through UCR’s Transportation and Parking Services<https://transportation.ucr.edu/visitor-parking>. Emeriti and retirees with a valid retiree/emeriti digital parking permit may use their permit in lot 30.

The R’Garden has grown from 3 acres to 8 acres since its start in 2009 with a mission to feed UCR’s community and prioritizes donating produce to the R’Pantry on campus as well as local food banks and goof recovery programs. We will explore the garden and learn about its latest seasonal crops.

A confirmation email will be sent to you upon registering and make sure to wear good walking shoes, bring water and wear clothing appropriate for the weather.
