Kaiser Permanente Pasadena Building now a Wildfire Resource Hub for impacted residents
In collaboration with community agencies, Kaiser Permanente is transforming its Pasadena regional headquarters building into a Wildfire Resource Hub for residents impacted by the devastating 2025 Los Angeles wildfires.
Kaiser Permanente's Walnut Center building, located at 393 East Walnut St. in Pasadena, will support residents affected by the recent wildfires to meet with national, state, and local community-based organizations that are joining together to provide crucial resources and information.
* The Wildfire Resource Hub will be open Monday, January 27, through Friday, January 31, from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 1 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
* Available resources that are free of charge include:
o Non-perishable food and fresh produce
o Air purifiers
o Wildfire recovery information
o Financial assistance
o A wellness and relaxation zone
o A children's play area
o The world's most famous beagle, Snoopy, will also be on-site to greet children, courtesy of Knott's Berry Farm.
o A Kaiser Permanente mobile health vehicle and an ambulance will also be stationed at the site to provide health care services such as care for common and chronic conditions, wellness services, and more.
* Kaiser Permanente sent text messages to members with Pasadena/Altadena zip codes on Saturday, January 25, to notify them of the Wildfire Resource Hub: "A Wildfire Resource Hub will be opening at KP offices at 393 E. Walnut St., Pasadena, January 27-February 1, to support those affected by the LA wildfires. Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. All are welcome. * The Southern California kp.org wildfire website has also been updated with information on the Wildfire Resource Hub and can be viewed at: https://healthy.kaiserpermanente.org/southern-california/alerts/southern-california-fires#community-support.
