As we approach 2026, I would like to thank you for the time we have shared
through our 2025 programs and events. Your engagement and participation
have been essential in advancing the work and initiatives of the UCR
Emeriti and Retirees’ Associations and the Retirement Center. We are deeply
grateful to our retirees and emeriti for the many contributions, time, and
support you continue to provide to our campus community.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season. May the new year
bring you joy, good health, and peace. We look forward to reconnecting in
the year ahead, and we invite you to watch for the Winter *Tower Talk*
newsletter arriving in early January.

Here is a glimpse into some of what is planned in January 2026 that you can

*Mystery Book Club*
Book Activity: The Man in the Meth Lab by Chris Culver
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time (Via Zoom)

*Emeriti and Retiree Social at the UCR Barn Stable*
Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time (In-Person)
No registration required and family and friends are welcome to join!

*Walks, Talks & Tours: Air Resources Board*
Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time (In-Person)
