Dear Retirees and Emeriti,

Give the new year a boost of well-being with the 8-week Mindful Minutes Series Campaign hosted by Kaiser Permanente and the UCR Faculty and Staff Wellness Program. Below are the details of the campaign:

Mindful Minute Series Campaign
Campaign Dates: February 12th - April 8th

During this 8-week series, learn practical ways to incorporate meditation, relaxation techniques, and gratitude into your day. You will find it doesn't take much time at all to experience the many health benefits of good self-care. Starting on Monday, February 12th, I will send you a weekly email with guided mindfulness exercises, tips for incorporating mindfulness into your daily routine, and resources to support your practice. Each session will only take a few minutes, making it easy to fit into your busy schedule.

Here's what you can expect from the series:

*         Weekly Guidance: Receive weekly emails with activities and resources to help you with practicing mindfulness.

*         Building on Themes: Each week focuses on a different theme of mindfulness, creating a progression:

o   Week 1: Introduction to Mindfulness

o   Week 2: Progressive Muscle Relaxation

o   Week 3: Slowdown

o   Week 4: Thankfulness

o   Week 5: Compassion

o   Week 6: Forgiveness

o   Week 7: Responding

o   Week 8: Goal Setting

Joining the 8-Week Mindful Minutes Series is simple. Participants who sign-up for the campaign will be entered in a raffle to win a Fit Bit Versa 2. I believe that mindfulness can positively impact your life in profound ways, and I am excited to embark on this journey with you. Together, let's cultivate a healthier, happier, and more mindful way of living.
