RASC - Lump Sum Cashout Survey

RASC is conducting a one-time survey in August 2024 to understand why retirees selected the lump sum cashout for their retirement benefit. The survey will be sent via email and U.S. mail. We are encouraging your participation in gathering this information.

Regarding the survey:

*         We want to assure Emeriti and Retirees this is a legitimate UC survey, not spam.

*         RASC is contacting 4,500 former UC employees who chose the lump sum cashout option and retired between July 1, 2019, and July 1, 2024.

*         Responses will be kept confidential and only used for RASC education purposes.

*         Email communication will go to the 4,500 retirees (represented and non-represented) on August 21, 2024, explaining what to expect. Union representatives have been notified.

*         On August 22, 2024, the RASC vendor partner, Logit, will send the survey via email from the address UCRASCsurvey at Logit-group.com<mailto:UCRASCsurvey at Logit-group.com>. The survey will also be mailed to the same group with a no-cost return envelope.

*         Participation in the survey will help RASC educate and inform prospective retirees who want to learn from others' experiences with the lump sum option.
