United Healthcare – "Home Wellness” Webinar on June 14, 2023

United Healthcare will have their second “Lunch & Learn” webinar on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The presentation will include a Question & Answer session. Members, spouses, family members and caregivers are welcome to participate and no pre-registration is required.

“Home Wellness – A Guide to Successful Health at Home”
This presentation focuses on “Home Wellness” and will introduce $0 cost-share benefits that are available to UC Medicare Choice members.

·         Healthy at home is for members returning home following inpatient or skills nursing facility discharge. Benefits include:

o   28 home-delivered meals

o   12 one-way rides to medically related appointments and pharmacy

o   6 hours of in-home personal care by CareLinx

·         24/7 Nurse Support helps members navigate and decide the level of care needed, find providers and hospitals, or understand diagnosis and treatment options.

·         Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) is an in-home alert monitoring system by Lifeline that is worn as wristband or pendant. The system will connect members to trained specialists when the help button is engaged.
