2023 Transitioning to Medicare Presentations

UCOP has shared information regarding presentations available for Transition to Medicare for retirees and emeriti on the UC medical plans. Presentations are open to everyone, but these presentations are especially informative for retirees turning 65 this year, and new July 1 retirees who are 65 or older or who will soon reach age 65.

UC Medical Plan Presentations

*         Anthem provides a pre-recorded presentation on demand with no meeting registration required for members of CORE, UC Care, and UC Health Savings Plan which can be viewed at: https://www.uchealthplans.com/commercial/transitioning-to-medicare.

*         Kaiser Permanente's presentations are available on demand and meeting registration is required and can be accessed at: [cid:image002.png at 01D96EB7.609F3F60]

*         UnitedHealthcare has changed to pre-recorded presentations for 2023 and UC Medicare Choice by UnitedHealthcare is the Medicare partner plan for the UC Blue & Gold HMO and the UC Health Savings Plan.

o   Registration is required and members can watch on demand by visiting the UnitedHealthcare website and clicking on the "2023 Education presentation" button located at: https://retiree.uhc.com/uc  or at: https://uhcvirtualretiree.com/uc/turning-65#seemore.
