Dear UCR Emeriti Association (UCREA) Members,

Giving Tuesday is tomorrow and the UCREA leadership team would like to share that the UCR Retirees' and Emeriti Association Giving Day webpage is open and ready to receive gifts for this year's Giving Tuesday on November 30, 2021. To celebrate this day of generosity, we are highlighting the UCREA Graduate Student Travel Award in order to set up an endowment to fund one or more graduate students with a travel award needed to attend a professional meeting or to pursue scholarly activities at other institutions and/or research sites.

In supporting the UCR Emeriti Association Graduate Student Travel Award, all new gifts ($5 to $500,000) will be matched dollar for dollar with generous support from UCR's Trustee Student Support Challenge Match. This means that your support on Giving Tuesday 2021 can go twice as far and we are thrilled to double the impact of our contributions.

We are thankful for UCR emeriti who continue to give back to UCR in various ways and this travel award initiative is one of the many ways of contributing. This year, UCR students need your support more than ever. Gifts of any amount have a great impact and make a meaningful difference.
