UCR Alumni Association invites you to participate in UCR’s Homecoming online event titled – It’s a Whole New World: Humanity 2.0 in the AI Revolution on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. pacific time. Join Chancellor’s Associates for our annual Homecoming Back to Class lecture where esteemed faculty members from the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering, including Assistant Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering Salman Asif, Assistant Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering Konstantinos (Kostas) Karydis, and Associate Professor of Computer Science & Engineering Vagelis Papalexakis, share their research on artificial intelligence, how it is contributing to the world around us, and how it will continue to impact the future of humanity as we know it. Susan Hackwood, Professor Emerita and Founding Dean of the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering will serve as moderator for the presentation.
