a collective gift in Jodie’s memory to support a project that was especially meaningful to her: the UCR Botanic Gardens Plant Evolution Greenhouse.<br>
<br>
We’re almost there! <b>Thanks to the generosity of our UCR community, we have collectively raised $9,350 toward our $10,000 fundraising goal! With just $650 remaining, we are incredibly close to reaching our goal.</b> Thank you to everyone who has contributed
to this meaningful effort.<br>
<br>
Jodie was working with the UCR Botanic Gardens to transform an existing greenhouse into a unique public teaching facility that explores the evolution of plants through the ages. Visitors will journey from some of the earliest and simplest plants, including
mosses and liverworts, through ferns and conifers, and ultimately to the diversity of flowering plants we see today.<br>
<br>
The Plant Evolution Greenhouse will provide a lasting educational resource for the Botanic Gardens and an opportunity to continue work that Jodie cared deeply about.<br>
<br>
Botanic Gardens staff have already raised $25,000 toward the project. Through our collective gift, we hope to build on their efforts and help bring this special project closer to becoming a reality.<br>
