<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">An announcement was received noting Health Net will begin leaving the California commercial health plan market effective March 1, 2027. While coverage
for most of Health Net’s group health plans will end February 28, 2027, <b><u>Health Net has confirmed that it will continue to administer its current UC contracts through December 31, 2027</u>. <o:p></o:p></b></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal"><b><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Health Net currently administers UC Blue & Gold HMO and four of UC’s medical, dental and vision plans for postdoctoral scholars.
<b>While this announcement does not affect coverage for the 2027 plan year,</b> it may generate questions from members enrolled in Health Net-administered UC plans. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
