The UCPath Center is updating the Life Event Activity Guides within Benefits Self-Service to improve the employee experience. These updates will be available for employees June 1, 2026.

Employees will continue the current process to complete benefits enrollment activities. The overall benefit enrollment process and eligibility rules are not changing.

Life Event Activity Guide Updates
UCPath is updating the information and guidance employees see when initiating life event activities in Benefits Self-Service.

What is changing

  *   Life Event Activity Guides will include more relevant, population-specific content based on employee circumstances
  *   Some pages may have slightly different wording or guidance
  *   Employees will only see relevant information
  *   The guide may vary depending on the employee population and life event type

Why this matters

  *   Provides clearer, more tailored guidance
  *   Reduces unnecessary or unrelated information
  *   Creates a more streamlined Benefits Self-Service experience
