In the fourth quarter of 2025, UC discontinued the quarterly administrative services fee for Voluntary Retirement Savings Program accounts with balances below $300.  Participants do not need to request this waiver or take any action.

If a participant’s total balance across all Voluntary Retirement Savings Program accounts exceeds $300 at the end of a future quarter, the administrative services fee—currently $7.25 per quarter, or $29 per year—will be deducted for that quarter.  Fee amounts are subject to change.

What the Fee Covers
The administrative services fee supports non‑investment plan costs, including:

  *   Recordkeeping for participant accounts
  *   Participant communications
  *   Financial education and planning tools
  *   Internal UC plan support and operations
