UCPath Notice: Family Member Eligibility Verification Update
To: General UCPath Communications distribution
UCPath will implement enhancements on September 16, 2024, to automate an internal identification process that flags family members who have failed the eligibility process with the verification vendor, Unify HR, so that they cannot be re-enrolled into the employee's benefit plans until the employee has successfully completed the verification process.

Key changes include:

  *   Internal identification check box for UCPath transactors to validate if a dependent's eligibility for benefit coverage has been successfully verified

  *   Employees will not be able to enroll unverified dependents into benefits plans via Self-Service Life Events or Benefits eForms for Life Events

Implementation Reminders

  *   A final go/no-go decision is scheduled for September 9, 2024

  *   Implementation of these features will not require system downtime
