UCOP was notified of fraudulent activity affecting UC Retirement Savings Program accounts manage by Fidelity Investments. Approximately 120 participants may potentially be impacted and all have been contacted to provide additional information.

Fidelity's cybersecurity team has identified the issue, closed the vulnerability, and taken immediate steps to protect all potentially affected accounts.

Under Fidelity's Customer Protection Guarantee, Fidelity will reimburse any losses from unauthorized account activity, provided the activity was not due to the employee's actions.
