In an effort to streamline the postdoctoral scholar disability claim process, we worked closely with Gallagher, UCPath, and The Standard to implement changes to the former process.

Please review the newly-created process document<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/default/files/2024-03/uc-postdocs-std-claim-instructions.pdf> with step-by-step instructions on how to file a claim with The Standard. This includes the steps for completing the employee portion, the physician’s statement, and how to initiate the completion of the employer statement.

This document will be housed on the Gallagher website for postdoctoral scholars to access.
