IMPORTANT UPDATE:  Health Net - Riverside Medical Clinic Agreement Reached!

UCOP has formally announced that Health Net and the Riverside Medical Clinic have reached a two-year agreement and RMC will not terminate and remains a participating medical group within the Health Net network of providers.

The information below provides members the steps to take in managing any changes initiated.


*       Members who contacted Health Net and initiated a change to a new provider or medical group may continue with RMC and/or their PCPs with RMC by contacting Health Net at 1-800-539-4072, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Pacific Time, or by visiting www.healthnet.com/uc<http://www.healthnet.com/uc>.


*       Members who did not make a provider change with Health Net will remain assigned to RMC, continue to use their existing providers, and do not need to take any action.


*       UCOP is working to identify employees who submitted eForms to the UCPath Center to change to a different medical plan. Once these employees have been identified, they will be contacted and informed that they may rescind their plan change request if they so choose (employees will not be required to withdraw the plan change).  Plan change requests will be processed if members do not actively request to rescind the change election. UC cannot change a plan election without the employee's consent.  The UCPath Center is developing a documentation process and instructions for employees to follow which will be shared in the next couple of days.  The UCPath Center anticipates contacting impacted employees within the next few weeks.
