"New Year, New Benefits" – Email from ALEX
On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, an email from ALEX<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2022-01/new-year-new-benefits.pdf> was sent to all employees who provided their email address in the process of creating an account with ALEX, UC’s health and welfare benefits decision support tool. The email was sent by Jellyvision, the company that owns ALEX.

UCOP was not notified about the email in advance and did not have the opportunity to review the wording of the message. UCOP notified Jellyvision that in the future, they must obtain approval prior to sending mass emails to UC ALEX users.
Please note, the email is legitimate and not a phishing attempt. Employees are not required to respond to the survey linked in the email.
