UCOP was notified that on October 6, 2021, Navitus sent an Opt-out letter<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2021-10/navitus-opt-out-letter.pdf> with the Summary of Benefits<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2021-10/navitus-summary-benefits.pdf> to all current members of the UC Medicare PPO, and UC High Option Supplement to Medicare plans-as previously mentioned in the Anthem/Navitus communication<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2021-10/10.05.21-anthem-navitus-postcard-letters.pdf> dated October 5, 2021.

The opt-out letter contains important plan and Medicare prescription drug information as well as a Q&A section and emphasizes the following:

No action is required from current members to continue their pharmacy benefits into 2022.

Navitus Customer Care opened on October 1, 2021 and is available 24/7 except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
