Open Enrollment Processing for Unverified FMEV Dependents
During Open Enrollment 2022 (OE); if an employee enrolled a dependent who has previously failed to complete the Family Member Eligibility Verification (FMEV) through UnifyHR (UC's third-party vendor), UCPath will be removing the OE elections for that dependent.

An email<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2021-11/oe-processing-unverified-fmev-dependents-notification-letter_0.pdf> will be sent to the employee and will provide the following information: notification of the action being taken, which dependent(s) are being affected, and what steps the employee can take to complete FMEV through UnifyHR to have their dependent(s) reinstated into Health & Welfare benefits. The targeted mass email is slated to be sent to all affected employees on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
