UCRAYS - Self-service Operation Guide
On behalf of the UC Office of the President (UCOP) and the UC Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC), the self-service retirement functionality is now live on the UC Retirement at Your Service (UCRAYS) member portal.

The Employee UCRAYS Retirement Process Guide<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2021-04/employee-ucrays-retirement-process-guide.pdf> is a high-level overview of how employees may create a Personal Retirement Profile (PRP) and initiate the Retirement Election form using the UCRAYS website<https://retirementatyourservice.ucop.edu/>. The guide provides instructions as well as helpful screenshots.

The Personal Retirement Profile feature is not to be used to create retirement estimates, but only if you intend to retire. There is a separate icon on UCRAYS specifically designed to generate estimates of projected retirement benefits or to review future benefits payments without committing to retirement.

The UCR Human Resources Benefits Office still encourages employees to meet with us for retirement counseling to ensure proper processing, understanding of the retirement benefit options, health and welfare coverage, and additional UC benefits available to retirees.
